Ik heb even op de Tottenham reddit gevraag hoe hij bevallen is. Van onze Portugese vrienden al aardig wat gehoord, natuurlijk, maar zij kijken er vast weer anders naar:

Gewoon zorgen dat Cody altijd zo hard naar voren rent, dat Vinicius altijd achter de bal staat.
Denk het ook ja. Bij Benfica is hij natuurlijk gewend om 90 minuten op eigen helft te staan

Op basis van de verhalen van Benfica en Spurs fans, kan ik mij niet voorstellen dat hij Zahavi niet uit de basis speelt. Ik ben niet zo negatief over Zahavi als sommige anderen hier, maar hij is niet veel meer dan een degelijke afmaker, een passant in de spits. Hij zou ook niet zomaar topscorer kunnen worden in de Portugese league, of Premier League basisspeler zijn. Als Vinicius dat allemaal wel is, dat is het slechts een kwestie van tijd / afstemming. Voor de transferwaarde hoef je het niet te laten, de een is gehuurd (mogelijk koop in de toekomst), de ander loopt toch uit zijn contract.
Then Again, Bas Dost was ook topscorer daar. Die had ik er niet bij gehoeven. Zit nu op de bank bij Brugge.
