PSV
PSV can no longer qualify for the knockout stages. They have now been eliminated in the group stages in 12 of their 16 CL participations.

PSV can finish bottom of the table of their group in consecutive CL appearances for the first time. In 2016/17, they finished last in a group that also contained Atlético Madrid, FC Bayern München and FC Rostov.

PSV are winless in their last 12 CL matches (W0-D5-L7), the longest winless streak by a Dutch team in the competition. PSV's last win in the CL was a 2-1 group stage victory at home against CSKA Moskva on 8 December 2015.

PSV have won just one of their last 18 away matches in the CL (W1-D4-L14) and are winless in their last 12 CL matches away from home, since a 1-0 victory at CKSA Moskva on 27 November 2007.

PSV have yet to claim their first win this CL season (W0-D1-L3), despite taking the lead in three of their four matches.

PSV have led for 102 minutes this CL season, at least 19 minutes more than any other team without a group stage win this term (Hoffenheim 83).

PSV fielded the same starting line-up in all their three defeats this CL campaign. PSV are the only side to have started at least three matches with the same line-up this CL season.

Luuk de Jong can become the third player to score in three CL matches in a row for PSV after Ruud van Nistelrooy (1998) and Gilles De Bilde (1997).

Manager Mark van Bommel represented Barça in nine matches in their 2005/06 CL winning campaign, including the final against Arsenal. That season would remain his only with FC Barcelona in the competition.

FC Barcelona
Last round, FC Barcelona qualified for the CL knockout stages after a 1-1 draw at Internazionale. They have now negotiated the (first) group phase in each of their last 17 CL participations, and in each of the last 15 seasons.

Barcelona are the only team this CL season to have already qualified for the knockout stages. Since the introduction of the current competition format in 2003/04, a minimum of two teams always qualified for the next phase after four matchrounds (2 in both 2003/04 and 2007/08) before this season.

Barça have lost only one of their last 26 CL group stage matches (W20-D5-L1), a 3-1 away defeat against Manchester City on 1 November 2016.

Barcelona have won just one of their last six CL away matches (W1-D4-L1), a 4-2 win at Tottenham Hotspur on 3 October.

FC Barcelona are one of three teams besides FC Bayern München and FC Schalke 04 that have not trailed for a single minute this CL season.

Barcelona have not been behind in any of their last 12 CL group stage matches. since that 3-1 defeat at Manchester City in November 2016.

Barça have not conceded a first-half goal in any of their last 12 CL group stage matches, including in all 10 under current manager Ernesto Valverde.

Lionel Messi has scored five goals this CL season, joint most along with AS Roma's Edin Džeko. Last campaign, Messi scored six goals in total in the competition.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo (121) has scored more goals in the CL main competition than Messi (105).

Luis Suárez has failed to score in each of his last 14 appearances in the CL group stage, since a double at home against Celtic on 13 September 2016.

Last round against inter (1-1), Malcom scored on his CL debut. He can become the first Brazilian to score in both his first two CL appearances while representing FC Barcelona.

Malcom can become the fourth player to score in his first two CL matches for FC Barcelona after Luis Enrique, David Villa and Deco.

3-2.....Barcelona is de laatste weken niet in goede doen, dus PSV kan gaan stunten in eigen stadion.....Forza PSV, Viva PSV, PSV ki Jai Hoh....!!!

2-1.

Speelde in z’n eentje Spurs kapot.
